Dahlia Season January 2014

To say I get excited about Dahlias is an understatement.

Every Summer I get a slight tingle ready for what I call a "firework in a vase".

The colours, the symetry makes me giddy with how perfect the petals can be. The number of different colours and shapes always astounds me. I recently discovered a dalia explosion at Ripponlea House in Elsternwick.To say I was excited was understatement!!
