My first entry into blog land!!
A lot has happened this year. I have finally embarked on a floristry career after spending nearly 20 years in restaurants all around Australia.
My passion for flower started as a small boy - picking flowers for my mother from the farm at the age of approx seven. I remember them being some kind of Lilly, I remember the smell and colour (orange). Both my grandmothers were keen gardeners , and my pop had the best vegetable garden ever. I have always been asked to do the flowers for the restaurants that I have worked for.
But this year I have almost finished my course at Pearson's Commercial course in floristry. Were this leads me I don't know yet. I still have to organize work experience at various florists which is well under way. Hopefully Deluca's will come through.
